A very good selection of French tea-towels - some in heavy linen, and some in hemp. Some with hanging loops, and some with Embroidered Initials, and all are variants of a theme of red stipe on white/cream background. Do not confuse these with contemporary examples from the Eastern Bloc Countries - these are all French, most do not even appear to have been used ( still stiff with their original starch) and date from the 1920s up until, probably, the 1950s.
