A lovely, and very Retro, Coffee Table by G-Plan in their "Librenza" range, sometimes called "Pattern 884". The most distinctive feature is the black French Polished base frame and legs (with brass adjustable feet), the design of which is cut away at the top, and thus creates the impression that the table top is "floating" above the frame. The unusual feature with this table is that it has a pale (perhaps bleached) oak top, which contrasts beautifully with the black base frame - usually the table tops in this range were Teak or Tola. From the 1960s and in very good condition.
