Yes, 23 carat gold plate!! This beautifully-designed Serving trolley is in black lacquered steel, and the rest (which looks like brass) is actually 23 carat gold plate! This was a speciality of Belgochrom, an excellent-quality manufacturer of  home furniture (not surprisingly, they originated in Belgium) Three glass shelves, of which the upper two are smoked glass, and the lowest is smoked mirror. Very fine condition, and dating from the 1970s. SOLD.
